Your prayer
Today's prayer isn't there
Your prayer is written the moment you first open Orison for the day, and the ember glows while it is being written. That usually takes a moment, rarely more than a minute. If it takes longer, close the app fully and open it again. If it is still not there after a few minutes, write to us and tell us the day.

Why did my prayer say that?
Your prayer is shaped by the themes of your birth chart and of the day, never by predictions about you. If something landed wrong, you can write an intention in Settings, and it will shape your next prayer. If a line felt wrong for your tradition, we want to know. Write to us and quote it.

Can Orison read my prayer aloud?
Not yet. The question when you began, in your own words or offered to you, is about whose voice the prayer is written in, not about sound. We would like to hear the prayers spoken too, and when that is ready we will say so here.

Where are my old prayers?
A prayer passes after about a week unless you keep it. Kept prayers live in your Book of Days for as long as you want them. The free Book holds five. In Orison Premium, it holds every prayer you keep.

Your details
Is my birth information safe?
Yes. Your birth details are used for one thing, writing your prayers. They are stored and worked with in the European Union, never sold, never shared with advertisers, never used to track you. When you delete your account, they are gone for good.

My city isn't in the list
Choose the nearest larger town. The list holds places of about fifteen thousand people or more, from GeoNames, so a smaller town may not be in it. Your prayer reads the sky you were born under, and a short distance does not change it, so long as it is in the same time zone.

Changing how you pray, your style, or your birth details
The way your prayer is written can be changed in Settings today. It shapes the prayers still to come, never one already written. Changing your tradition or your birth details from inside the app is coming soon. Until then, the only way is to delete your account and begin again, which lets your kept prayers go with it, so it may be worth waiting.

Orison Premium
I paid, but the app still says free
Open Settings and tap Restore purchases. That asks Apple or Google for your receipt and turns Orison Premium on. If it still says free, check that this phone is signed in to the App Store or Google Play account that made the purchase. Then write to us with a screenshot of Settings, and we will look.

Cancelling Premium
Orison Premium is billed by Apple or Google, so it is cancelled with them, not in Orison. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play, your profile, Payments and subscriptions. Cancel at least a day before a period ends and you will not be charged again, and your free daily prayer continues either way.

Deleting my account when I have a subscription
Deleting your Orison account removes your prayers and birth details for good, but it does not cancel your subscription, which Apple or Google bills. Cancel it in your store account, before or after you delete. Deleting first is fine.

Reach us
There is a person on the other end.
Write to care@orison.day. Tell us which phone you use and the day it happened. Please leave your birth details out of the first message; we will never ask for them by email.
